Cookie policy

Last updated May 2026

This site uses a small number of cookies. This page explains what they’re for and how to control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Some are essential for a site to work; others help the site owner understand how the site is being used.

What we use

Essential cookies. A small number of cookies are needed to make the site work, for example, to remember your cookie preferences so we don’t ask you on every page. These are set whether you accept cookies or not.

Live chat. Our own chat window lets you message us with a question and get help with availability, prices and your stay. It uses your browser’s session storage (not an advertising cookie) to keep your conversation together while you move between pages. Your messages are processed by our system to answer you, and are not used for advertising.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate. The cookies set are typically named _ga and _ga_<ID>. They record anonymous information about pages visited, time on site, and how you arrived. Google may also use this data for its own purposes. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising cookies (Google Ads and the Meta pixel). If you accept, we use the Google Ads tag and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel to measure how well our ads perform and to show relevant ads to people who have already visited the site — known as retargeting. These set cookies from Google and Meta. Nothing is set, and no data is sent to them, unless you accept. See Google’s privacy policy and Meta’s privacy policy.

How to control cookies

When you first visit the site, you’ll see a banner asking whether to accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can decline, and the site will work fully without them.

If you change your mind after that, the simplest way is to clear this site’s cookies in your browser; that resets your choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.

You can also clear all cookies, including ours, through your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies from specific sites or third parties.
